what's that little line at the upper left above the handle? what is the purpose of it? bought a house & this is the dishwasher that it comes with & I plan to put a panel door over the dishwasher to match my kitchen cabinets so I need to know if that's a vent of some sort.. thank you!

if you use WD40 in the dishwasher, then you wouldn't be able to use it for things that you eat with later on, so after that it's ruined. Just use dish liquid and baking soda works like a charm

That is a ridiculous waste of time. Just add a small bucket of water while adding the clothes. Problem solved.

The simpler the better, less complex, less fancy features, less to break usually means it will last longer ! Never have an ice maker in the regular frig compartment, NEVER !!!! You don't need an internet connected frig, costs more to fix. Keep your cooling coils cleaned yearly !

I have king size valevag IKEA mattress. The problem with the sprung spring mattress is that when I sleep in the edges, mattress sloping causing me to roll out of the bed. This is really annoying. Sleeping in the center is fine but in the edges is a very problematic.Anyone experienced this issue?

French door freezers are horrible because you stack things on top of each other. Plus you have two doors to open on the refrigerator and it's a hassle.

This happened to me I used cooking oil about 1 cup pored it on the suds did a rinse it was perfect but it did leave a slight oil resordue on the door next was it was gone

Do not buy the GE Cafe refrigerator. It looks beautiful but it will only cool from 41-51 degrees at best. It is the worse refrigerator I have ever owned. GE will do anything to NOT replace it. I am 65 and have owned many refrigerator's over the years GE Cafe is the worst! Buyer beware.

Things just aren't made sturdy like they were in the past. It's horrible for our environment. Nobody wants a dishwasher for 2 years only. And putting electronics near the handle is a water accident waiting to happen.

Samsung Sucks!!!!!!! My house came with a Samsung French door stainfull steel fridge. It’s on its 3rd ice maker, the freezer is no longer keeping ice cream frozen even being set at -8F. The water dispenser has had prostate trouble since the day we moved in. You can’t clean the gook that gets between the glass and plastic frames on the shelves. I can believe a $2,500 appliance that’s only a few years old can be so bad at everything it’s supposed to do. Growing up we had an avacado green gas stove and fridge given to my parents from my great aunt and uncle probably from around 1970. We finally threw them away in the mid 1990’s. They just always worked, I don’t ever even remember a repairman at the house.

Powder is better for cleaning and killing bacteria because it contains a powdered bleach. Laundry liquids clean ok but doing get tough stains out especially on whites.

So what brand(s) for an upright automatic defrost freezer?

I wish you showed the inside of the washer. Is this with agitator?

Thanks for this great information. Could I just put the clothes in and wet them down with a pitcher of water.? So not to have to waste all that water? I just got a maytag that has a faucet feature for pre-soaking. It will fill with water and not lock the lid. Is there a way to stop it from draining out all that water, and just take it straight into a wash cycle?

Unbelievable. This had to have been designed by a man. What were they thinking? Kitchenaid probably doesn't want the consumer to see the defects under the drawers where water has leaked and is now frozen. Since I am the one who cleans the fridge and does all the repairs, I don't appreciate this horrible engineering.

Thanks for the video and suggestion. BUT....I just bought a new LG washer and I'm ready to trade it in on FB marketplace for an old whirlpool from 1998. I hate these new washers. Can't stand any of this new technology b/c it's crap. These companies are trying to sell us on how much better it is when they themselves know its crap.. but what choice do they have when the government puts so many restrictions on them? And don't get me started on cars.. Every time I go to buy something new (even lightbulbs for hells sake) I'm reminded how much our government loves to shove this crap down our throats.
